The Diamond In the Rough

Wohow… Big news!

At September 8th, a company of mining in England has found a brand new gem. It is said that it’s in the bottom of “the 20 largest gem ever”. Its pure transparency has the capability to illuminate light into an amazing set of colors; it might even surpass the rainbow itself! Wow!

Anyway, it was found deep in a mining field in Lesotho, South Africa.

Well, although it reached more than 450 carats, it’s still beaten by the heaviest and the biggest gem in the world: the 3106-carat Cullinan Diamond which was found in 1905.

Below is the picture of the gem found in Lesotho. Its transparency can separate light into many lights.
